INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Natural Healing

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Whilst the main treatment focus is on the head area, at Natural Balances, we precede this by working the upper back, shoulder and neck areas to stimulate the blood flow to the upper body. Each treatment is concluded by a lymphatic facial drainage.
The head is the main ‘electrical’ energy centre of the body and all of the body’s organs are served by electrical power from the brain. Activating various pressure points on the face and head can stimulate and activate the release of natural chemicals which help induce both relaxation and sleep.
Stimulating the head area improves the ability to concentrate, to think more clearly and relieve anxiety, stress and depression. The main chemicals involved in these processes are serotonin and beta-endorphins.
